All the outdoor rounds shot during the year contribute to the club
championships. Out of the 7 set outdoor rounds your 3 best scores will count. It is worked out on handicaps for ladies,
gents and juniors and the championships go to the archers whose best 3 rounds
average the highest handicap |
|||
It is not obligatory to
shoot rounds if you do not wish to do so.
All these rounds
will be handicap adjusted on the day and a trophy is awarded to the archer with
themost improved handicap.
He/she keeps the trophy until the next month’s shoot.
If you wish to be e-mailed with information about any upcoming
Shoots please contact

For the less experienced

A round is a set number of arrows shot at two or more distances. It is advisable to be present the week before the round to say what distances you prefer to shoot and to sort out your sight marks in preparation.
You have six arrows at the first distance (sighters) but not for subsequent distances.
There is no reason at all why you can’t shoot a round at any time.
You may want to do this to get a classification. If this is what you are after, it is necessary to have someone
else shooting with you to verify your score
